Jessy is a Registered Social Worker who has holds a Masters of Social Work Degree. She supports individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self esteem, grief, shame and guilt. She works with individuals to support them in developing coping strategies to regulate emotions, identifying triggers, improving their self esteem, and increasing self compassion. Hiba Hamed

Hiba Hamed, holds both an honours bachelors in Arts and Sciences (Psychology and Biological Sciences) and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Windsor. She speaks three languages (English, French and Arabic) and has experience with diverse populations including, visible minorities, the disabled, youth, seniors, black, indigenous, LGBTQ+, newcomers and many more. Melanie Abbott

Melanie has a MSW from the University of British Columbia. She has been a social worker for 19 years; for the past 7, Melanie has been working as a mental health and addictions therapist in BC and Nunavut. Melanie provides care in English. ————————————————– Melanie is a certified EMDR therapist, and also uses CBT, DBT and motivational interviewing to help individuals meet their mental health potential. She has experience working with individuals experiencing a range of mental health struggles including depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use/addictions, among others. Melanie is also trained to conduct hormone readiness assessments to people seeking gender-affirming care. She uses a strengths-based approach to counselling and believes every person has the ability within themselves to heal and sometimes just needs some guidance or encouragement to get there.
